We’ve been learning the recorder. Here’s a song we worked on last term. We’re getting better all the time.

Junk instruments

Check out the instruments we made out of recycled materials. We love using them to play some of the samba rhythms we’ve learnt this year.

Skipathon

We loved learning cool new skills in our skipping workshop today. We look forward to trying out our new tricks on the yard. We were amazed by the skipping talents of children across the school. Well done everyone.

Length

This week we’ve been exploring length in maths. We’d great fun and learnt so much. We estimated and measured classroom objects to the nearest meter.

Magnets

Today we designed and made fishing games using magnets, twine, lollipop sticks and paper lips. We enjoyed learning all about how magnetic forces work. Some of our friends even brought in their own magnetic equipment to show to the rest of the class.

Circuits

We loved learning about circuits with our 6th class friends.

Fairytales continued…

We continued our work on fairytales with some shared writing.

World Book Day
